General Overview
While there is no official tailgate like those found in Football, the surrounding bars on Front street and the surroundings, will be packed with fans before the games.
How To Get To Toronto Maple Leafs Tailgate
The arena is downtown Toronto and is well located near the cities major train and subway station (Union Station). If you come by car, the Gardiner Expressway passes right by the place. Parking is available around the arena for 15-20 dollars. Of course, since the arena is downtown Toronto, you can always just walk there!
Parking Information
Surrounding lots are not as common as they used to be, thanks to several new condo developments in the area, but they can still be found. Prepare to pay around 15-20 for a spot. Traffic out of the city after a game can be horrendous.
Tailgating Policies
Unfortunately there is no real tailgate at most NHL arenas. The police will confiscate open alcohol containers. Your best bet is to wet your whistle at one of the surrounding restaurants or pubs.
Stadium Information
The ACC has a bad reputation for being expensive. Everything seems slightly over-priced. The arena itself though is modern and spacious and offers a great seat to all. The nose bleeds seats are bit small, but then again, you are in the nose bleeds...
Food and Drink
A giant beer will cost you 13 dollars (granted it's a giant beer). You can get all sorts of food from the concession stands (I think I saw someone with sushi), or even dine in one of three restaurants. You will likely find whatever you want, but it will cost you.
There's tones of options in and outside the rink. You can even try the local "street meat" which is a sausage in a bun cooked by some dude on the street.

Lodging
Located downtown, the arena is surrounded by hotels. They may tend to be on the expensive side. However, since the subway drops you off right at the door of the arena (well, more of less), you can always find a hotel a bit out there in the city and still not have a long walk.
Local Attractions
Located nearby the arena is tones of bars and restaurants. The Hockey Hall of Fame is also nearby on the corner of Front Street and Yonge Street. I highly recommend visiting it.
The area is located in the financial district of Toronto, so on a weeknight the area tends to get a bit quiet. But don't worry, there's always something going on in Toronto, so get on the subway and find the party!
