If tailgating at NHL events was allowed, this arena would be ideally situated. It's a new arena built around nothing. The giant parking lots surrounding are a tailgaters dream, but unfortunately they are only meant for parking.

You will very likely have to drive to the arena, since it is located in a remote part of the city. The highway does pass right by it. Yeah!

The public transport can get you there too. Check out OC Transpo for routes.

One way to get there is to find a Local Heroes restaurant. Most offer a bus service to Scotia Bank Place for around 5 dollars (there and back!).

There's tones of parking around the arena.

The arena itself is a modern building that offers excellent views to all fans. The concession stands are decent and offer your standard stadium foods.

There's nothing around the arena. Your best bet is to stay in Ottawa and to use some form of transport to get to the arena.
