Traffic Flow
I-35 Northbound traffic please consider taking OK-33 east to 177 north into Stillwater. This will greatly alleviate some traffic issues in Stillwater.

POSSE Parking

POSSE parking lots will open 6hours prior to evening games and 4 hours prior to morning or early afternoon games. There will be no access to Knoblock Street between Hall of Fame Avenue & McElroy Street on game days. There will be NO grilling, cooking or char-coaling allowed in or on top of the Silver Star parking garage due to fire and safety regulations, please plan accordingly.

General Parking

All game day fans looking for FREE parking, park downtown Stillwater. Shop at the local merchants, enjoy less traffic and then step onto an air conditioned shuttle bus at 7th Street & Lewis. The Shuttle will service approximately every 15 minutes before the game starting three hours prior to kickoff and will service every 30 minutes after the game depending on traffic.

Cowboy fans can now PARK FREE IN DOWNTOWN STILLWATER and enjoy game-day shopping and dining before catching a courtesy shuttle to Boone Pickens Stadium. to download a map of available free parking lot locations downtown. Shuttle service begins 3 hours prior to kickoff and continues throughout post-game, with pick-up/drop-off approx. every 15 minutes.

Parking lots open six (6) hours prior to kickoff for games that start at 6 p.m. or later. Lots open four (4) hours prior to kickoff for games that start before 6 p.m. (Georgia Sept.5, gate open at 8a.m.)

RV parking lots are open Friday at 5 p.m. the weekend of home games. Please be aware there will be limited parking when OSU Soccer is playing a home match. Consult the OSU Soccer schedule for these dates.

Oklahoma State does not provide any utility hook up(s) for any motorized vehicles.

Tailgaters are not allowed to occupy parking spaces with tents or other objects. All Sidewalks, drive lanes and fire lanes must be secured. Cords, generators, satellite dishes, etc. must be confined to allotted space and cannot stretch across drive lanes.

In accordance with the alcoholic beverage laws of the State of Oklahoma, individuals must be at least 21-years-old to purchase, possess or consume alcoholic beverages.

The use of alcoholic beverages by members of the Oklahoma State University community is at all times subject to the alcoholic beverage laws of the State of Oklahoma.

Do not remove or move barricades, barrels, or any other traffic control devices. All signs and instructions for lots must be obeyed.

Grilling is NOT allowed in any parking decks.

All fires must be contained within grills or other containers designed specifically for that purpose. Extinguish charcoal fires thoroughly with water before leaving them unattended. Place extinguished charcoal in designated containers or remove it from campus for disposal. Do not dump charcoal on the ground or in dumpsters.

Individuals, groups and organizations holding or participating in tailgate parties are responsible for their own conduct and are expected to respect the rights of others and the entire University community.

Use of motorized recreational vehicles, including four-wheelers, golf carts, mules, gators, scooters, motorized skateboards, etc., is prohibited.

Garbage bags are distributed at the entrance of each POSSE parking lot. Additional bags are available upon request. Dispose of all trash in trash receptacles located in tailgating areas. The disposal of grease, hot coals or hazardous materials onto the grounds or into storm drains is prohibited.

Commercial activity or solicitations are not allowed on campus. Vendor spaces are available on gameday through OSU Athletic Marketing at (405) 744-3067.

Oklahoma State University, OSU Athletics, the University Police Department and Transportation Services Department reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time. Inappropriate behavior will result in the permanent loss of all parking and tailgating privileges.

Oklahoma State University is not responsible or liable for accidents, damage, loss or theft of materials/items/personal property left overnight or on gameday.

Pets are not allowed to run free in any parking area. They must be leashed at all times and are certainly not allowed inside Boone Pickens Stadium.

Only street legal Golf Carts, ATV’s, Gators and etc. are permitted on public streets & parking lots on Game Days. All violators will be subject to being ticketed by law enforcement. In case of emergency, call 911. For non-emergencies, call University Police at (405) 744-6524.

There is no entry allowed into university buildings. All building doors are locked on the weekend and should not be tampered with or forced open.

Violators will be subject to legal action. Those who wish to organize corporate and “professional” tailgates should contact Cowboy Sports Properties at (405) 744-3480 for information concerning designated corporate areas.

Boone Pickens Stadium is now a state-of-the-art facility that not only provides Oklahoma State football with a unique game-day environment and a roaring home-field advantage, but also with unrivaled facilities for daily operations located in incredibly convenient proximity.

The wheels were set in motion on the multi-faceted, multi-year stadium project when OSU graduate Boone Pickens made the single-largest gift in school history in 2003. His $70 million donation ($20 million of which was earmarked for stadium expansion) spurred the “Next Level Campaign”, which generated more than $100 million in gifts and pledges and involved more than 2,500 individuals, making it the single-most successful campaign in OSU history.

Pickens capped the fund-raising effort in 2005 with his monumental gift of $165 million that will not only benefit Cowboy football, but will aid with the development of OSU’s planned multi-million dollar athletic village. The gift is the largest ever received by a university athletic department.
