How To Get To Florida Tailgate

From Orlando
  • Take (SR-528/Bee Line) West to Florida turnpike
  • Turnpike turns into I-75 North
  • Take I-75 North to exit 387 (Newberry Rd./RTE 26)
  • Turn right at light (Newberry Rd./RTE 26) go east -7 miles
  • Continue east until Gale Lemerand Drive turn right
  • Stadium is on your left.


From Jacksonville
  • Take I-10 West to US-301 South toward [Baldwin/Starke]
  • Take US-301 South to Waldo. Veer right on FL-24 West becoming Waldo Road
  • Turn right onto RTE 26/University Ave
  • Turn left at light Gale Lemerand Drive
  • Stadium is on your left.


From Atlanta
  • Take I-75/I-85 South to exit 387 Newberry Rd./RTE 26
  • Turn right at light Newberry Rd./RTE 26 go East -7 miles

Parking Information

All lots open at 8:00 am. Please display your parking pass at all times. The UAA is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Please note that a vehicle may only take up one space.

Decal restrictions on campus are lifted only in lots that are not already reserved. Two and a half hours prior to kickoff, no traffic will be allowed on Gale Lemerand Drive from University Ave. to Stadium Rd.

RV Parking

All RV lots open at 6:00 PM on the Friday before home football games (and 6:00 PM on Thursday of Homecoming week). All vehicles must be removed Sunday by 1PM. For non-Gator Boosters RV parking questions, please call UF Parking and Transportation at (352) 392-8048. All RV’s must use an exhaust fan to project all fumes upward and away from other parking lot users.

Tailgating Policies

You may tailgate within your spot (in front or behind your vehicle) or in any open grass area. Please take special care to not block the road and/or walkways.

  • Music must be confined to your tailgate area
  • Tents may not be used within a parking spot
  • Golf carts, mopeds and scooters will not be allowed in parking lots and surrounding streets on game day.


The following items must be approved by UAA staff prior to game day:

  • Large industrial-sized cookers
  • Portable generators
  • Company/Business signage
  • Portable toilets
