How To Get To Baylor Tailgate
Visiting fans usually set up in the public parking lots along Ross and Burnett Ave. to the northwest of the stadium.
Most Baylor tailgaters tend to congregate in one of four areas.
The first - known as "Creekside" - is along Williams Landing Road, south west of the press box. These spots require a reservation with the marketing department in advance. As the name eludes, these spots are adjacent to a small creek and are heavily shaded.
The second – known as “Stadium Tailgating” - is located behind the south end zone and includes electric and cable hookups. These spots must also be secured with the marketing department and usually sell out within a few days.
The third area, the student lot, is now located between Dutton and Cleveland streets, north of Touchdown Alley. This is where the fraternities, sororities, and other student organizations have their events. It must be reserved in advance as well.
The fourth area is located to the northeast of the stadium at the corner of 29th and Dutton. It is open to all, free of charge. In the past, Target Restoration, a local construction company, provided a limited number of free parking vouchers to tailgaters in this area. Starting in 2011, this area will be funded by the members of a Baylor message board, BaylorFans.com.

Tailgating Policies
Although the stadium is located several miles from campus, it is owned by the university and thus subject to Baylor’s anti-alcohol policy. For many years, this meant university police driving around on ATVs, inspecting ice chests, and pouring out solo cups. Recently, however, the university has changed course and though the official policy remains intact, enforcement has completely ceased. Instead, tailgaters police themselves, keeping alcohol in a cup or a Koozie, and calling out folks who get out of hand.
Trash and hot coal bins are located throughout all of the tailgate areas. Port-a-potties are situated on the periphery of all of the lots.
