If you are not a season tailgate pass holder and would like to obtain a game-specific tailgate pass, please call 621-2287 to be added to a waiting list. Game-specific tailgate passes will only be distributed if space is available. If additional space exists, game-specific tailgate passes will be allocated based upon a priority point system waiting list and will become available two (2) Mondays preceding the home game (see Tailgate Request Dates and Distribution Dates chart below).
Tailgating requires advanced purchase of a season or game-specific tailgate pass. All vehicles entering the tailgating grounds will be required to display a tailgate pass. If a vehicle does not have a pass, it will not be allowed on the tailgating grounds. On game day, spaces are assigned to season and game-specific tailgate pass holders in the order vehicles arrive, parked one next to the other. Tailgate locations may change each game. No reserved spaces exist on the first-come, first serve tailgating grounds. Large parties must meet outside the tailgating area and arrive together to be parked together. Tailgating begins six (6) hours prior to kick-off.

Tailgating Policies
Tailgating Hours
The tailgating area will open six (6) hours prior to kick-off. All tailgating activities will cease at kickoff, at which points fans must head into Arizona Stadium for the game. All tailgate areas must be cleared within one (1) hour after the conclusion of the game.
Rain
In the event of heavy rain, it is possible that parking will not be allowed on the lawn or that tailgating may be canceled. Refunds will not be given due to inclement weather.
Wildcat Walk
For the second season, the football team is making their grand entrance through tailgating as they make their way to the stadium. Be the first to greet the team as they are dropped off on Cherry and University, two (2) hours prior to the game.
Tailgate Size
The pass holder is limited to the designated space of his/her tailgate. The fire lane located in the center of the tailgating rows is for the safety of everyone, and must be kept clear of all obstructions.
Tailgate passes are sold as under 30' and over 30' depending on the size of the vehicle used. A vehicle that is over 30' must purchase an over 30' pass. However, an over 30' pass can be purchased for an under 30' car for extra space. Spaces are assigned to tailgate pass holders in the order vehicles arrive, parked one next to the other (if a customer has purchased two (2) passes, they will still be expected to park side by side, NOT one behind the other). There will be no reserved spaces allowed on the first-come, first-served tailgating grounds. Large parties must meet outside tailgating area and arrive together to be parked together.
Under 30' - For tailgates under 30' the space size is 10 feet off one side of the vehicle and 30 feet from the front of the vehicle to the back of the space (17'x30').
Over 30' - For the tailgates over 30' the space is 10 feet off one side of the vehicle and approximately 45 feet from the front of the vehicle to the back of the space (18'x45').
The size of the tailgate area is at the discretion of the UA Tailgating Staff. Please note that the side of the vehicle will be determined from the front passenger or driver's side wheel. Slide-out will not be allowed. Exact space is not guaranteed and may be adjusted slightly to accommodate more tailgaters on high capacity games such as Homecoming against Utah on November 5.
Tailgate Capacity
The overall attendance of a tailgate may not exceed the space provided. Should attendance become so large that the guests (invited guests or "walk-ins") cannot be confined to the designated tailgate space, it may be shut down. The pass holder is responsible for policing uninvited guests and should notify the UA Tailgating Staff if there are uninvited guests who refuse to leave the area.
Catering & Tent Company Deliveries
If you are planning on renting pop-up tents, additional chairs, tables, or catering, please note that delivery vehicles are not allowed in the first-come, first-served area. Delivery drop-offs are only allowed outside of the tailgating area. Please make sure that you have a pick-up time and place pre-arranged so as not to interfere with tailgating traffic. Catering vehicles are not allowed in the first-come, first-served area regardless of the possession of a catering permit. All tents used must be set up by the pass holder; there will be no setup of tents in advance to the beginning of tailgating.
Restrooms
Port-A-Johns are available on the UA Mall, Gittings Lawn and the McKale Lawn.

Stadium Information
Arizona Stadium is an outdoor football stadium on the campus of the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. It is the home field of the Arizona Wildcats of the Pacific-12 Conference, and its current seating capacity is 57,803.
Located in central Tucson, the stadium has been home to Wildcat football since 1928.
Initially, stadium capacity was just 7,000, with seating located on the stadium's west side. Arizona's first game at the facility was October 12, 1929 when the Wildcats defeated Caltech 35-0. Capacity was raised to 10,000 in 1938 when seats were constructed on the east side of the stadium. Additional seating was added to both end zones in 1947. This added an additional 4,000 seats.
In 1950, a horseshoe configuration was constructed around the south end zone resulting in the addition of almost 8,700 seats. A multi-level press box and 10,000 seats were added to the west grandstand in 1965. The east side of the stadium received a second tier, consisting of 17,000 seats, in 1976, as the Wildcats prepared to leave the WAC for the Pac-8 in 1978.
In 1981, the track team moved out and the track was removed. Permanent seating was placed at the north end of the end zone in 1988. Following the 1988 season, a new press box with luxury sky boxes replaced the aging structure built more than two decades earlier. Prior to the 1999 season, a new state-of-the-art scoreboard was installed complete with video monitor.
The football field runs in the traditional north-south configuration and the natural grass playing field sits at an elevation of 2430 feet (740 m) above sea level.
In addition to hosting football games, the stadium also includes two dormitories, Pinal and Navajo, in the South stands, and Sierra Hall, which today is home to offices for the music department and Residence Life, located under the east stands. The Steward Observatory Mirror Lab, a mirror fabrication facility for large telescopes, sits under the east wing of Arizona Stadium.
In September 2009, UA announced a long-term $378 million sports expansion project that would include an expansion of the north end zone stands. The expansion would include a four-story building that would house locker rooms and football offices, among other things. In January 2011, it was announced that a new 5,356-square-foot (497.6 m2) video board would be installed above the south stands in time for the 2011 season. It will be the fourth-largest video screen in college football.
