Join us for select weekends during the year for Angelo State’s premier tailgate experience Ram Jam! Some of you may be asking what is Ram Jam. It is a tailgate party hosted by the Angelo State University Alumni Association at the LeGrand Alumni and Visitors Center for ASU Students, Alumni and the San Angelo community!
Tailgates are set up outside the LeGrand Alumni and Visitors Center on a first come, first serve reservations. For more information on tailgates please contact the ASU Alumni Association.
Inside, the Member’s Room is set up for Association Members in the Norris Ballroom. Complimentary drinks are available for members and different foods are featured at each Ram Jam. The big screen is also pulled down so members can watch different sporting events going on around the nation.
Underneath the big tent outside is a featured band brought in to bring the jam for Ram Jam! Any number of bands participate playing anything from country to rock.
Around the Dale and Chase Courtyard games, jump houses, popcorn and other events are put on for everyone!
And underneath the Vincent Pavilion is where all the free food can be found. Tables and chairs are also put out for anyone to sit and enjoy a meal while taking in all the Ram Jam festivities.
At the end of the Ram Jam, the famous Ram Band performs with the ASU Angelettes and Cheerleaders! They perform a piece from the game and the fight song. They then lead everyone to the game marching towards the San Angelo Stadium!

Parking Information
Parking is available in the Foster Field parking lot. If you will be tailgating, the entrance is on University Road you can sign a waiver with the staff to tailgate in the area. Space is limited so arrive early or call us at 325-942-2122 to reserve your spot.
Tailgating Policies
No glass or kegs are allowed. If drinking alcohol you must be 21 years old or older according to state law. Please pick up after yourself. Only vehicles with the grills are allowed in the tailgating parking lot.
