During Speedway & Dragway Events

Traveling from the North

1. Take Virginia Exit 17 off I-81 and turn left on Hwy. 75. # At the Tennessee border, the road changes to Hwy. 44.
2. Continue on this route until the stop sign at U.S. 421.
3. Turn right on 421 and stay on it until the traffic light at Hwy. 394.
4. Turn left and proceed to Bristol Motor Speedway & Dragway.

Traveling from the South

1. Take Tennessee Exit 69 off I-81.
2. Turn right at the bottom of the ramp onto Hwy. 394.
3. Bristol Motor Speedway & Dragway are located on the left side of Hwy. 394.

Non-Event Directions

The most direct route to Bristol Motor Speedway and Dragway from Interstate 81 north is on Hwy. 11E. Take Virginia Exit 3 and Hwy. 11E will take you directly to the Speedway & Dragway. This route tends to become extremely congested during race weekends. Other routes to Bristol Motor Speedway & Dragway are advised.

For the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals at Bristol Dragway, there's plenty of free parking available.

Two free parking areas are provided for this event.

1. Earhart Campground just off Hwy. 11E (Volunteer Parkway)
2. The Landing Parking just off Hwy. 394

Camping areas for the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals will open on Thursday at 9:00 A.M. Gates will remain open 24-hours a day through the event. The campground will close on the Monday following the completion of the event at 10 am.

Gold Camping

$450 - Includes a 4 night stay from Thursday through Monday (Tickets for each day of the event are required in addition to your camping)

• Each site has water, sewer, and electrical hookups
• 20' x 50' reserved sites
• Unlimited access to shower and restroom facility
• 24-hour assistance and security

Overlooking the quarter-mile, the Gold sites provide the closest view of the event from the comfort of your motorhome.

PLEASE NOTE: Tickets for each day of the event are required in addition to your camping for each person staying on the site.

Silver Camping

$400 - Includes a 4 night stay from Thursday through Monday (Three day combo tickets, not included in camping price, are required for all motorhome occupants)

• Each site has water, sewer, and electrical hookups
• 20' x 50' reserved sites
• Unlimited access to shower and restroom facility
• 24-hour assistance and security

Silver sites overlook Bristol Dragway from the Finish Line to the Top End and guests have 300 mph views as nitro-burning cars complete their runs and decelerate directly below your campsite.

Pro Pit View Camping

$400 - Includes a 4 night stay from Thursday through Monday (Three day combo tickets, not included in camping price, are required for all motorhome occupants)

• Each site has water, sewer, and electrical hookups
• 20' x 50' reserved sites
• Paved surface
• Unlimited access to shower and restroom facility
• 24-hour assistance and security

This limited number of sites on the fence line in our Medallion camping area provide a breathtaking view of Bristol Dragway and the Pro Pit area from your site.

Medallion/Sportsman Pit View

$350 - Includes a 4 night stay from Thursday through Monday (Three day combo tickets, not included in camping price, are required for all motorhome occupants)

• Each site has water, sewer, and electrical hookups
• 20' x 50' reserved sites
• Paved surface
• Unlimited access to shower and restroom facility
• 24-hour assistance and security

Also located in completely paved Medallion Area, these spaces offer a bird's eye view of the sportsman pits, Bristol Motor Speedway and the beautiful surrounding foothills of the Appalachians.

PLEASE NOTE: All guests camping in the Bristol Dragway Campground facilities must have a three day combo ticket when enetering the facility to camp in addtion to their camping pass. For more information on tickets, please contact the Bristol Dragway Ticket Office at (423) 989-6900.

Additional information about BMS event camping at Bristol Dragway:

• No open fires (must be off the ground and in something you can put a lid on)
• No on-site propane tank refill service available
• No golf carts or ATV-type vehicles (strictly enforced)
• No fireworks

As a year-round campground, Lakeview serves the NHRA Nationals, both NASCAR race weeks, Speedway in Lights and all other Bristol Motor Speedway activities. The campground has spacious sites with wide roads for easy site access. All sites have Full Hookup including 20/30/50 amp electrical, free Wi-Fi and clean private bathrooms. • Scaffolds or Platforms
• Bicycles
• Beer Balls
• Noise-Makers, Horns, Helium Balloons and Beach Balls
• Other items that may pose a safety hazard or diminish the enjoyment of an event by other patrons
